Three staples of student nightlife in Edinburgh are combining forces to create an annual event to look forward to.
Sneaky Pete’s, Legends, and Bongo Club have announced the first edition of the Cowgate Block Party will arrive on 31 January 2026.
The event will boast some of the best new bands, with the lineup still to be confirmed.
Although already a popular spot, this is an exciting new development for students around Cowgate, marking it as a hub of music and culture.
The event is already gaining traction amongst students and other frequenters of Cowgate, with early-bird tickets already sold out.
Early-bird tickets were £15 and general admission tickets are £20, with a £1 booking fee.
The official Instagram account is quickly building a following, with many voicing their excitement for the opening event.
Students at the University of Edinburgh have expressed enthusiasm about the event.
One student told The Student, “It looks like so much fun,” and they will “definitely be going.”
